July 2, 2007 (Press Release) -- (NEW YORK, NEW YORK) - Night show legend Jay Leno teams with two of the biggest upcoming DJ's, DJ Wats (Brooklyn, NY) and DJ Illmatic (Ithaca, NY) to release the biggest Hip Hop mix cd of the summer! This collection of exclusive material includes new songs from heavyweights Jay Z, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, the late Stack Bundles (R.I.P.) and many more artists. Jay Leno provides hosting duties for this blockbuster mixtape.
This cd marks the first collaboration for rising stars DJ Wats & DJ Illmatic. Both DJ's are members of The Bakery (a marketing/image branding and music consultation group based out of NY). DJ Wats is already a seasoned veteran on the mixtape circuit, appearing six times already on MTV's Mixtape Monday. Wats and his management team discovered DJ Illmatic in September 2006 and since have helped DJ Illmatic become a household name amongst hip hop fans.
To date, these two trendsetters have released celebrity mixtapes with Michael Jordan, Kanye West, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Papoose, Dip Set, Nigo (Founder of high end clothing line Bathing Ape or BAPE), Sky Balla, Frankie Krutches & much more.
